The Retreat

Casa Madrigal is a private house providing accommodation in one, two and three bedroom units, all with en suite shower rooms and kitchen facilities.

The villa is well maintained, set in mature and tranquil gardens, and is totally walled and screened for privacy. The property is modelled around various terraces with palm, pine and citrus trees, shrubs and flowering plants – and the swimming pool.

Within the grounds there is space dedicated to meditation and healing, and guests are free to participate in these or not, and can seek assistance in meditation or have healing. Casa Madrigal does not offer a structured programme to your stay but instead allows for total freedom to do as you wish – be it relaxing by the pool, somewhere in the grounds or even on your own private terrace.

Mallorca

Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic islands, offering miles of spectacular coastline and a landscape that is both dramatic and pastoral. The main mountain range, the Serra de Tramuntana, stretches the length of the north-western coast, rising to the 1450m high Puig Major in the centre.

Mallorca offers a near-classic Mediterranean climate – winters are mild, summers are hot and dry, and each season offering its own natural delights – pink and white almond blossom in Spring, orange and lemon groves, olive trees and the ever-present bougainvillaea.

The island is small and varied enough to offer many day excursions, and cosmopolitan Palma is old yet modern, and has something surprising and delightful for everyone, day or night.

Peguera

Casa Madrigal is a five minute walk to the Bulevar de Peguera with its many boutiques, shops, bars and restaurants – and three first-class resort beaches with more restaurants and café-bars.

Peguera is a half hour drive, southwest from the airport and the capital Palma. There are many outlets for the hire of vehicles both at the airport and in Peguera itself, and via the internet. A frequent bus service links the resort to Palma and to other interesting and historic ports, market towns and villages, and the resort also offers easy access to the beautiful Serra de Tramuntana mountains and towns such as Andratx and Port d’Andratx, Deia, Soller and Valldemossa.
